Now building Version 6 of this great Rack ! . 
The Tough Touring Gutter mount roof rail is secured by 4 Gutter mounts each side as per Pics above - Running off a 1 piece gutter rail that extends the length of the GU's roof. 
The Top edge of the rail can be ordered  folded Inwards for best results on tents 1350mm or narrower, If your going for an "Infold" foot rail, you will need 1300mm Planks... or If you are going for an outwards Fold  for tent bodies 1350 or wider - you need to order planks at a min of 1400mm wide out to the widest we make at 1550 for really wide tents like the bundutop King. 

To Summarise:
If your ordering INFOLD rails, the correct Top Hat Bar planks to order are 1300mm - These sit inside the foot rails, The roof of the GU tapers from 1310mm at the front to 1270 at the rear). 
 
If ordering OUTFOLD rails, the correct Top hat bar planks to order are MINIMUM 1400mm, (To suit Boss RT1, Camp King, The Bush Company Alpha, Bundutec standard, or KING and other WIDE tents). 
We make top hat bar planks specifically for the Bundutec KING at 1550 mm as this tent mounts at the outside edge of the planks... 
 
The SINGLE Roof rail Design of the Tough Touring rack takes away point load issues with traditional gutter mount roof racks, securing immense loads stronger and lower.  
 
All Orders for this rack come supplied with 4 TOP HAT BAR PLANKS in Aluminium (Powedercoated Black) of your chosen length. 

We warrant this rack for Off road conditions typical of GU running heavy duty Pole less awnings, solar and RTT. 

Tent can be mounted Using Through Bolt or Nutsert methods TOP HAT BAR PLANKS offer easy of and On removal of tent (With planks attached)
 
OUTFOLD Versions of the rack definatly reccommended for anyone wishing to quickly install and remove  tents, with Fitting bolts accessable from Beside the vehicle making the job much easier. (depends on the tents width).  This rack is perfect if you wish to run a Stand alone Awning to Rack mounts for easiest tent removal and replacement while still running a Pole Less awning without the tent...
